Enter the Barbering world with our 12 week Level 2 Certificate course. With weekend barbering courses in Manchester, this course is designed for beginners and will allow you to leave our Academy more than ready to enter the world of barbering with a high level of expertise.
These courses are limited to small cohorts and are ran by our award winning team, who are all fully qualified trainers and assessors. By limiting course numbers, we believe this allows you to reach your full potential as our trainers will spend one on one time with each student, offering a level of teaching and service that you will not get anywhere else.
At The Crate Academy, you will be learning in a real salon environment and will be interacting with clients, which will set you up for when you start your first job upon completion. We will ensure you are confident in what you have learnt and will be there for ongoing support and references when you are looking for your barbering jobs.

The VTCT Skills Level 2 Certificate in Barbering is a qualification that has been specifically designed to develop your practical skills in; the creative art of cutting men’s hair, the specialist work of cutting facial hair and how to offer a good consultation service for clients.
Underpinning this qualification you will develop a sound knowledge of health and safety whilst working in the barbering industry.
You will also develop a knowledge and understanding of the practical skills learned throughout this qualification.
The purpose of this qualification is to develop your practical skills to a high level of occupational ability to enable you to perform your own salon services.

All of our training takes place with our award winning team. A non-refundable, non-transferable £500 deposit is required to secure your booking. Remaining balances can then be paid in full or via PayPal instalments. Our team will contact you to arrange this.
